Hydrant Flushing

On Monday 06/12/2023 the Peck Department of Public Works will begin the Spring Fire Hydrant flushing program in the Village of Peck between the hours of 7 AM and 2 PM. It may take up to 2 weeks to complete, and flushing will start on the south end of the Village. During the flushing program residents can expect reduced water pressure, discoloration, and momentary interruption of water service. The DPW advises residents to please refrain from doing laundry during these hours of flushing as the discoloration may stain clothing. If your water is discolored, run the cold water tap for 10 – 15 minutes and it should clear up. The water is safe for consumption. The Village of Peck apologizes for the inconvenience and asks for your cooperation during our operations.
